Fillings, crowns or implants?
Small cavities are repaired with fillings. When a large portion of the tooth is lost, a crown covers and protects it. If a tooth cannot be saved, a dental implant or bridge replaces it. We explain the trade-offs of each option.
Treating tooth decay early
Decay grows over time. Early cavities can often be treated with a small, conservative filling; waiting can lead to pain, infection, or a root canal. Regular checkups help us catch it early.

Crowns, Bridges & Fillings FAQs
Do you replace silver fillings?
Yes, if they are failing or you prefer a tooth-colored look.
How long do crowns last?
Well-cared-for crowns often last 10–15 years or more.
Does getting a filling hurt?
We numb the area thoroughly, so most patients feel only pressure.
Bridge or implant?
Implants do not require reshaping neighboring teeth and help preserve bone; bridges may be quicker. We will compare both for you.
