Dr. Michael Atherly, FICOI

Dr. Atherly came to Pebble Beach Dental from the San Diego area after serving in the US Military, where he provided quality dental care to our Marines. That experience shaped how he practices today: efficient, precise, and calm under pressure, with a deep respect for every person in the chair.

He is a Dean’s List graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and a recipient of the Robert Zugsmith Memorial Scholarship Award for Meritorious Academic and Clinical Achievements. He later earned Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), one of the most respected credentials in implant dentistry.

His goal is simple — exceptional dental care with a full range of options under one roof, from clear aligners and porcelain veneers to single implants and All-on-4® full-arch restorations. Outside the office, Dr. Atherly enjoys time with his wife and two children, the outdoors, and is actively involved in his church.
